An alarm bell no longer attracts the attention it once commanded. The speed of response to a break-in, fire or similar incident can make the difference between preventing a crime from happening or being a victim of it.

Monitoring is a natural extension of the protection offered by standalone alarm systems, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If the alarm is activated, it automatically reports to the Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) within seconds and sends details of the time, location and type of alert. The alarm transmission is, where appropriate, filtered to remove unwanted false alarms and when the operator has confirmed its authenticity, the alarm signal will be dispatched to the appropriate emergency service.
